There were many forms of entertainment throughout the Roman Empire. Many of these forms include Gladiator Fights, Chariot Races and Theater. The Romans were really big on entertainment. They wanted to give the people entertainment in exchange for their cooperation. The Roman higher class wanted to be able to keep their fortune and they did not want the people to rebel so they decided to keep the people busy so they would not think about rebelling against the Roman leaders.
